Groundwork’s in Ruddington
March 2024 – RCE worked with Groundwork’s Green Doctor team and the Environment Agency to hold an event in St. Peter’s Rooms sharing energy saving advice for the home and tips on flood prevention. This event was open to all local residents with an offer of free home visits to give further bespoke advice. This opportunity instigated by RCE made a real difference to the finances and wellbeing of many people in the local community. Through the behavioural changes advised, and energy measures installed, attendees will have saved a total of £2929 and 6,030kg Co2 – the equivalent of driving 17,860 miles!
